On Sunday, March 15th, the Bernards Township Education Foundation hosted its very first community gathering, an inspiring evening that brought together residents, educators, and local leaders in support of our shared commitment to education. With around 70 attendees, the event marked a powerful beginning, filled with meaningful conversations, new connections, and a collective sense of purpose.

We are particularly grateful to Mayor Ana Duarte McCarthy and Committeewoman Jennifer L. Asay for their support, and to Superintendent Markarian for his heartfelt remarks about the organization and his presence at the event. We also extend our sincere thanks to the members of the Board of Education for joining us and supporting this important initiative.

What stood out most was the energy in the room—a community ready to invest in its schools and in the future of its students. This event was more than a kickoff; it was the start of a movement. With continued support and engagement, we can create opportunities, fund impactful initiatives, and strengthen the educational experience across Bernards Township.
